It is not that the spammers do not know how to spell or use the spell checker, just another attempt to evade the spam filters.   Why are they so willing to help you get the grant?  Because they gain from every referral, it is just like the mortgage spams which we used to receive a lot.  That has now disappear because of the sub prime crisis.
